Chetrum Capital LLC is a Midwest-based, private investment firm dedicated to bringing financial and operational sophistication to small companies in the middle market. The firm was founded in 2001 by Jim Erbs and Shân Atkins, veteran executives with diverse experience in the worlds of private equity, turnaround management, and the Fortune 100.

We seek to acquire underperforming businesses and improve them, or to acquire high-performing companies with attractive future growth prospects. In both types of situations, our expertise and resources can augment and accelerate success.

Our preferred mode of investment is via a controlling equity interest, although we will consider minority investment positions under certain conditions.
